Working with Your Arms Overhead
Holding your arms above your head for long periods (like painting or reaching high shelves) can compress nerves and blood vessels, leading to numbness or tingling.
Reaching Behind Your Body
Grabbing something from the back seat while sitting in the front? This twist can strain your shoulder, especially if it's already been injured.
Sleeping with Your Arms Overhead
This common sleep position can cause your arms to go numb overnight—similar to the stress from overhead work.
👉 Tip: Keep your shoulders in a relaxed, neutral position throughout your day and night. Chiropractic adjustments can reduce tension, restore motion, and help prevent injuries from becoming chronic.
Achilles tendonitis causes pain at the back of the heel and is often confused with plantar fasciitis (which affects the bottom of the heel). The Achilles tendon is the largest and strongest tendon in the body—and it takes a beating every time you walk, run, or jump.
Stretching and ice can help for mild cases, but lasting relief comes from correcting foot alignment. Chiropractic adjustments to the foot and ankle are safe, gentle, and often bring quick results—even for chronic tendonitis.
